Four Wheel Drive Touring

If you're looking for a wilderness experience away from the crowds perhaps a day out with one of our four wheel drive packages is the answer (the tour starts at 9 am and returns at 5 pm).

Following a pick-up from your Port Sorell accommodation, our first destination the Huntsman Valley. The views of the Meander Valley from the back of the Huntsman are extraordinary.

Our first opportunity to stretch the legs will be into a magnificent piece of temperate forest (part of the Gondwana Walks).

Morning tea on the banks of the mountain fed Meander River and then onto the Upper Mersey.

Countless miles of forestry tracks and droving trails await us. Tracks that will take you into Snarers Huts that have been in use for generations and waterfalls that are visited by a handful of people each year.

We will enjoy a gourmet lunch when you find the right location.

Three rules WILL be observed by both clients and guides:
   no mobile phones, no watches, no clocks.
