Three packages have been developed for 2004. They are:
ADVENTURE EXPERIENCE WEEKENDS - imagine the opportunity to meet with a group of like-minded people and enjoy a weekend of exhilaration and excitement with abseiling, white water rafting, horse trail riding or similar pursuits.
RELAXATION, ROMANTIC AND GOURMET WEEKENDS - an opportunity for a weekend of pampering, attention and gourmet meals combined with a very special environment in which to share your feelings with a loved one.

The Port Sorell Getaway team has partnered with experienced tour operators to develop a combination of action based activities with a range of social and accommodation options that will meet your individual needs. The Adventure Experience Weekends package includes accommodation on Friday and Saturday night, with the option of a Friday evening spotlighting tour of the nearby National Park.
An early breakfast on Saturday morning will be followed by group pick-up and transport to the venue for the activity. Morning tea and lunch will be provided as part of the activity package.
Upon your return to the accommodation, you may decide to simply relax in your room, meet up with others at the Club bar or walk around the area, soaking up the history, wildlife and views that combine to make Port Sorell so special. You may even have decided to book an in-room massage to help you to relax after your special experience (not included in the package price).
Dinner on Saturday night will be available at Freers Restaurant here at Shearwater, and you will be able to decide whether you will prefer to be seated as a couple or as part of the group. The cost of this dinner is not included in the package price.
On Sunday, you are invited to partake in a Champagne brunch at the Tranqilles licensed cafe and tea house. You may also decide to play 9 holes of golf at one of the local golf courses (not included in the package price).
Your hosts will of course be delighted to advise you on those particular spots that are of specific interest to you to enhance your trip home.
Relaxation, Romantic and Gourmet Weekends
Here is your opportunity to enjoy a unique sharing experience with that special someone in your life. Port Sorell Getaways is proud to offer a unique weekend package of pampering, gourmet food and wine and enjoying a very special environment with a very special person. Some accommodation can offer you double spa ensuites upon request (deluxe supplement).
Arrive at Port Sorell on Friday evening, where chocolates and sparkling wine await you at your accommodation.
Saturday's breakfast will be provided at your accommodation house. You will then be able to indulge your individual passions. You may wish to book an in-room massage through your host, arrange for a facial or other pampering. You may wish to undertake a walking or driving tour (your hosts will be delighted to advise you of suitable excursion options). You may decide to go on a nature trail experience or visit the nearby National Park. How about lunch in a chocolate or cheese factory or on the deck overlooking a scenic winery?
On Saturday night, you will meet in front of the fire in the Tranquilles Gallery for complimentary champagne and nibbles, followed by a three-course gourmet experience in the Tranquilles dining room. An impressive wine list includes a range of Tasmanian and quality mainland wines available for purchase.
A romantic Sunday brunch is provided at the Tranquilles Licensed Cafe and Tea House. You will then be free to return to your room if desired before setting off for home (late check-out [1:00 pm] is included in the package).
